I’m excited for all the blog related things that are happening this month and i’m lucky that my mum is being so supportive and looking after Little Miss for me. She is really proud of what i’m doing and how I’m putting myself out there to make new friends. Next Saturday is the first but I don’t think I’ll have time to post this next Wednesday before I go so I’m sharing it tonight!
This is the stuff I’d REALLY like. I’ve been saving hard, I have some birthday money left, all Easter money and money I’ve been saving in my paypal account that I plan on withdrawing closer to the time.
From L’Occitane I’ve gone with the Mum & Baby cleansing gel, something that I can use on both myself and Little Miss.We both have sensitive skin, her more than me so I can’t really use any of the nice products on her, everything is very pharmacy smelling but this has some great reviews for being kind to extra sensitive skin. I also secretly hope they have some left over stock of the Honey Whipped Body Cream
as seen on Sophia’s blog Tattooed Tea Lady
that I can also snap up. Lush I’ve gone with a mask recommended for hangovers, Brazened Honey. I’m currently in love with their fresh face masks after Cupcake
and this one is next on my list for sorting me out post drinking (not that I do it much but I have a lot on this month FINALLY feeling like a twenty five year old again!) I also want to pick up a Yuzu & Cocoa Bubbleroon, it’s my all time favourite bath product and I got NONE in my birthday Lush haul
, sad times! The Cath Kidston washbag is to hold the over flow of make up until I get my own house & dressing table so I can do some fancy storage thing. Until then everything lives in a bag. I already own the smaller version
& love it so when I saw the bigger version I thought why the hell not? I’ve been recommended Real Techniques brushes a few times and after doing some research I’ve decided that I’m going to FINALLY invest in some. I’ve chosen the starter set as it consists of mainly eye brushes which is all the brushes (bar blusher) I use. Bad beauty blogger I know! They’re currently part of Boots 3 for 2
so who knows what else I could come out with (probably more Models Own polishes..) Of course I’ll be going into MAC.. I have my eye on quite a few lipsticks at the moment but if I had to pick one it would be Hang Up as i’m desperate for a dark lipstick for evening wear. I also want to give Fix + a try and what better way that buying the travel sized one first? And from Space NK I’m finally going to purchase the NARS eyeshadow primer which I featured back in February on my birthday wishlist
. I know everyone says it’s not as good at the Urban Decay Primer Potion
but I just didn’t get on well with that (sorry everyone!) so i’ve had my eye on the NARS one for ages!
Clothes wise, if you follow me on Twitter you will know how much I really REALLY want the Black Lace Bardot dress from Topshop but it’s completely sold out! I hope I’ll be lucky enough to find it in a store. I’ve been after a nice denim skirt since my skater skirt is too big now and this one seems to be the right length and a nice light colour for summer. And well the Zara bag can speak for itself, I need a new bag and this one looks perfect.
I’ve definitely not got all my money spent as I know I’m going to Kiehls and I’d like to speak to someone about what would be best for my eyebrows so I’ve factored in some spare cash to spend on them… and of course I won’t be able to resist some basics from H&M and Primark. I’m hoping to find the Mathlete T-shirt
& the Disney Princess t-shirt
. And speaking of Disney I need to go to the Disney Store next Saturday to get something for Little Miss, I’m sure I can persuade Rhiannon of The Sparkly Panda
to accompany me! I’d also like to see what MAC’s Candy Yum Yum looks like on me, I’m not sure I can pull of neon but we’ll see. I love it on both Hayley of Strangeness & Charm
and Meg of Made in a Cup
What’s on your wishlist for the coming month?
