So Little Miss is finally getting more teeth, unfortunately because she’s getting a load at once it’s an absolute nightmare at the moment. I’m walking around like a zombie, constant head ache and completely shattered. Not to mention I have less than four weeks until my final exams for these modules, trying to fit in revision when by 7pm I’m ready for bed! My thoughts go out with any mothers dealing with teething wee ones!
I apologise that some of the quality of my photos are a bit messed up, my brain hurts too much to fix the ratio tonight!
Anyway, tonight I’m sharing with you my favourite vintage online clothes boutique. I’m sure I mentioned somewhere how much I love vintage wear.. it’s not because I’m one of these cliche hipster girls it’s because I have an irrational of being seen wearing the same as someone else. I have felt this way for going on 10 years now so I’ve always frequented vintage shops and I’ve found some fab things over the years! Especially since I moved back up north where my shopping choices are limited to New Look, Dorothy Perkins and Next, I’ve started looking for unique online retailers to purchase my clothes from.
When Arrow and Eva contacted me over twitter to offer me an exclusive 10% off their ASOS Maketplace shop I jumped at the chance to spend some of my summer wardrobe savings. I spent a good hour trying to choose some key pieces I felt I lacked an I settled on a t-shirt to wear over my jeggings, a cute blouse to tuck into my new Topshop Joni Jeans and finally a cardigan in a colour I hadn’t seen anywhere on the high street.
My purchase arrived in good time and the delivery price was reasonable. The items are of course all worn and used due to their vintage label but I was impressed to find they all arrived smelling fresh and clean. The t-shirt and blouse were in excellent condition and although the cardigan is bobbled it still has loads of wear in it. I haven’t managed to get a photo of how I styled the t-shirt as I usually just wear it with leggings on make up free days (and no one wants to see that, hell I don’t even want to see that!) But here are some outfits I put together using the cardigan and blouse.

Topshop Joni Jeans
Dainty Doll Lipstick in It’s My Party
I never ever wear any trousers apart from leggings/jeggings on my “scruff” days. However after seeing some of my fav bloggers sporting Topshop’s Joni Jeans I knew I had to get a pair. The only problem was I didn’t have anything to wear with them! So when I saw this gorgeous cream vintage blouse on Arrow & Eva I had to have it. The embroidery is gorgeous and I like how it’s not too sheer. I love this outfit as the purple cardigan and the roses on my handmade hair band really pull it together. This Dainty Doll lipstick is one of my favourites at the moment, the staying power is unreal!
Tatty Devine Necklace
Arrow and Eva Cardigan
MAC Lipstick in Creme Cup
This outfit for me is the epitome of spring. The colour of the cardigan is so nice and I love the white stripes, it makes me think of an American varsity cardigan/jacket. The colour is so unusual and I’ve had loads of compliments on it. The dress I bought off eBay last summer and it’s one of my firm favourites, I only recently got it out the loft so it hasn’t got a lot of wear of late. I hope we have more sunny weather so I can make good use of it, and this outfit is perfect for the summer. It’s lovely to wear my Tatty Devine necklace, I’ve had it 7 years and it’s still going strong. Finally my lipstick is Creme Cup by MAC, it’s one of my newest editions and it’s great for day wear.
So what are your feelings about vintage clothing? Yay or nay?
