Heya everyone! I’m Albertine and I write the blog DippyWrites. A week or so ago Amy asked me to do a guest post for her and I decided to share with you guys my top 5 summer products. Now these aren’t exactly thing s I can’t live without, but they’re things I just find myself using a lot more frequently when the sun FINALLY decided to shine!
1.Butter London nail polish in Jaffa-One of the first things that I think of when I think of summer is super bright nails. I’ve been really loving this orangey coral shade, it’s kind of a pastel-bright hybrid that looks really lovely on.
2.Cherry carmex-I cannot leave my house without my carmex in my bag!! It has an spf of 15 and using it also helps to keep my lips super soft and stop them from drying out and getting too chapped in the hot summer weather. I also love the scent of it, it’s not too strong but instead is just a subtle hint of cherry.
3.Bourjois bronzing primer-For the longest time i’ve really wanted to buy the Chanel soleil du tan and so when this was released I just had to snap it up! I love using just a little bit of this on my cheekbones under my foundation and I feel it really does give my skin a nice glow.
4.Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick shade 20-As soon as summer comes I have to crack out the supper bright lipsticks too! This is apparently a dupe for MAC’s candy yum yum and I absolutely LOVE it! It’s such a wearable bright pink lipstick that looks amazing with a bit of a tan. More recently i’ve been wearing it with a bright blue along my water line and just a smidge of bronzer on my cheekbones.
5.Victoria Secret body mist in Love Spell-This is such a summery scent! It’s so fruity and sweet with notes of cherry blossom and peach to it. The smell reminds me of fruity cocktails and beaches.
so those are my top 5 summer must-haves, I hope you’ve enjoyed reading this post, if you have please come over to my blog and say hello!
