#179 Shopping Spotlight – Scarlett Fashion

So, I’ve been living here what will be three weeks on Saturday and would you believe I still haven’t found a decent place to take outfit photos? This house is really bright too but everywhere I try the photos look just god awful, I even invested in a new taller tripod but to no avail. I think I’m going to have to start asking my sister to take my outfit photos, although the thought of her mocking me fills me with dread!
Anyway, I’m still gong to give you a fashion related post because it’s about time I shared this wonderful store with you all. I know a few blogs I follow have already blogged about this place and I feel dreadful for taking so long to share! So tonight I’m going to be talking about Scarlett Fashion and it’s wonderful owner Karen.
Karen runs a store, an online store and the blog Scarlett Fashion Blog, you have already met her as she was the first wonderful guest blogger while I was moving, if you haven’t read it yet, it’s here. In my opinion she is what I call a maverick mother, she works hard and raises her daughter who isn’t that much older than Little Miss. She’s also a very yummy mummy who is currently documenting her road to weight loss over on her blog. We have often exchanged emails and we’re now even friends on Facebook. She is an excellent inspiration.
Anyway, we originally started talking as she was introducing her online branch of her boutique, Scarlett Fashion which is named after her daughter. After a quick browse I was in love. The shop stocks some absolutely gorgeous pieces from names such as Glamorous, Little Mistress, Yumi and my personal favourite, Sugarhill Boutique. Karen offered to send me out a piece and I chose a top that I knew would be perfect for wearing with my beloved high waist skirts, jeans and shorts (high waist, a mothers best friend!)
I choose the gorgeous Harriet Navy Lace Top by Sugarhill Boutique* as I’m sure you’re all aware this has my three favourite things to wear all rolled into one; blue, lace and a little collar. It really is my dream top. It has a really soft lining so it’s a dream to wear. I’ve honestly worn it at least once a week sometimes twice since receiving it as it’s perfect for day and evening wear. I’ve teamed it with a high waist skirt, shorts, over a mini skirt and under a pinafore but my all time favourite way to wear it is tucked into my beloved Topshop Joni jeans.

Scarlett Fashion currently has a fantastic sale on and this beaut is now £25.60 with free UK shipping. There are some fantastic bits and pieces not just clothes but bags, scarves, jewellery and various other accessories. I’m currently lusting after two Miss Patina dresses, the Miss Honey Blue Rose dress now £46.80 and the Dolly Lama Mint Blue dress which is also reduced before the new season styles are introduced. If you follow @scarlettfashion1 on Instagram like I do, you’ll have already had a sneak peak of what will be arriving soon!
