Insta-Month August

The highlights were… my cousin coming over for Australia with her family, ladies night with my aunts & cousins, going to visit Bee’s new house & cheese nights, swimming and the murder mystery tour, taking Little Miss swimming for the first time, Alice coming to stay and going to the Edinburgh Fringe, going to the aquarium with my sister, her boyfriend and the kids, the seaside festival & lifeboat fete. And of course, can’t forget winning the Holiday Postcards comp with Travel Supermarket!
Some things I have been loving… my new red hair, getting settled into my new house, Celebrity Masterchef and the Great British Bake Off starting again, spending time with my family, reading blog posts filled with Autumn fashion inspiration and finally making MORE plans.
My favourite purchase.. oof, tough one! I haven’t bought anything of note this month because of saving every little bit for Paris. I do love my Disney Princess shoes though!
Biggest regrets have been… my grandpa has been really really unwell and i’ve hated not being able to see him but he hasn’t wanted visitors apart from his daughters (my mum and aunts).. saw my Nanny on Thursday for the first time in 6 weeks.
Next month I hope… Monday is the only black mark on what is shaping up to be a good month.
Next month I’m looking forward to… seeing my best friend TWICE, seeing J & K for Jimmy Eat World in Leeds, having Alice & Hayley come to stay, my nephew’s SECOND birthday, my cousin’s 21st birthday, more family gets together, the food festival. PHEW it’s going to be a busy month!
So I didn’t do a July Insta-Month having just moved and really not being organised! I’m finally getting sorted and finding time to blog around Little Miss as we both find a routine that suits us. I’ve also felt so much more inspired this month and i’ve started to branch further into lifestyle rather than beauty. I have some great post ideas coming up next month!
