#221 A Wednesday Wishlist – Scarlett Fashion Edition

It’s been a while since I did a Wednesday Wishlist, purely because I’m trying to avoid coveting things this close to Christmas when all my extra cash is tied up in gift buying! However I wanted to share a new top and since I’ve already done a Shopping Spotlight for this online boutique, I thought i’d combine it with a wishlist from the website instead, because there is a lot I’d like from there!
The top is from the new Sugarhill Boutique range, a line of clothing I’m currently obsessed with since I received my first top through the post a few months back. Sugarhill Boutique basically is quirky clothing with an adult edge to it, which I think is perfect for me! One of my favourite stockists of the Sugarhill Boutique label is Scarlett Fashion, which had it’s own Shopping Spotlight feature back in July. Scarlett Fashion also stocks an assortment of other labels such as Yumi, Miss Patina, Little Mistress, Glamorous, as well as jewellery, bags and accessories so it caters to more than just Sugarhill heads (such as myself). Scarlett Fashion is run by the truly lovely Karen who is also a blogger (and a mummy, and has another job! She’s a real life superwoman!) you can read what she has to say over at Scarlett Fashion Blog.

So, this top. I’m afraid you’ll have to wait until my Paris entries as I plan on keeping it nice for when I’m over there (and I hope Hayley will assist me with outfit photographs) but I thought i’d give you a sneak peak tonight before sharing my current Scarlett Fashion lust list.

Sugarhill Boutique Blue Bird Blouse in Cream c/o Scarlett Boutique £29.99 *
From the moment I saw this blouse, I was in love. It has that quirky edge that I desire in my clothes but the cut is grown up and I can’t wait to pair it with my black joni jean and wedge boots for a night out on the tiles in Paris. The material is quite light weight so it probably isn’t a top you could go coatless in the middle of winter but it means that despite the 3/4 length arms, it will keep you cool if you’re out with your dancing shoes on. I love the cross over hem, it looks so flattering over my post-baby bulge. I also feel this is one of those tops that could be bother casual and dressy depending on how you wear it but I find that’s the case with a lot of the Sugarhill B
outique stuff which is great for me as I barely ever go out but if I do, I always know I have something hanging in my wardrobe.
So what am I currently lusting for from Scarlett Fashion? Strangely it isn’t all Sugarhill, although it could easily be. But you know me, I like to mix it up a bit.
1. B.young Satin Skirt, £17.49 // 2. Miss Patina Dolly Lama Dress, £45 // 3. Missco Girl Twistlock Fold Over Bag in Purple, £34
4. Yumi Red Bow Winter Coat, £35// 5. Paisie Ocean Blue Necklace, £25 // 6. Sugarhill Boutique Bambi Shift Dress, £45
I’ve narrowed my lust list down to my six favourite things on the website. Starting with the obvious bargain, a Yumi winter coat for £35?! How stylish and very Blair Waldorf is this beauty, it’s currently in the sale hence the price but I think it’s such a classic style, perfect for a night at the theatre or a dinner date this coming winter. I love the B.young skirt because like with the Sugarhill Boutique pieces, it would be perfect for day or nightware. I love the cut of it and the colour is gorgeous. I blame Hayley for my current purple obsession, it’s obviously catching because the Missco Girl bag really caught my eye, the colour is gorgeous and I need a new bag for when I don’t have Little Miss with me. I’ve been after the perfect statement necklace to jazz up dull necklines (read, the ones that don’t have peter pan collars) and this Paisie one is perfect, I love the colours and design. I have lusted after the Miss Patina dress since the dawn of time, it has everything I love in a dress, a cute pattern, a colour and it’s pastel coloured. It’s also in the sale, it might need to be bought as my Christmas day dress! Finally, no Scarlett Boutique wishlist would be complete without something from Sugarhill Boutique.. I’ve chosen the Bambi shift dress because a) LOOK AT THOSE SLEEVES & b) my daughter loves anything and everything Bambi at the moment! She hasn’t seen the movie though, when she finally does I’m sure she’ll not be so keen!
