Happy Birthday Mum

Today is my mum’s birthday, and I didn’t want the day to go by without a shoutout to her. She is the most amazing woman before and I know i’ve mentioned this many times in other such posts, but she is my inspiration to be the mother I am. She has dedicated her whole life to her family, from when she was a child and lived at home with her parents and four siblings, to when she married my dad and raised my sister and I. And now she’s a wonderful grandmother to my daughter. She also looks after children in a pre-school that she is head of. She is a fantastic woman, a queen of multitasking and the phrase “no judgement” personified. She always sees the good in everyone, even to her own detriment. If I’m even half the person she is, I’ll be bloody happy.
