Dolce & Gabbana
Spring fashion from Dolce & Gabbana combined a little bit of Spanish culture in the mix. Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce are said to have travelled throughout Spain to dive into the country’s rich history, including the senoritas and the matadors there, to inspire their latest collection. But on top of Spanish-inspired style, this brand also featured plenty of clean white shirts that served as the foundation for a variety of great looks. Layer white shirts with ruffled car coats, tuxedo jackets, and more to create a new, refined, sophisticated look this spring.
Prada is one of the biggest designers on the planet, so it’s no surprise that they were also at Milan’s Spring Fashion Week to show off their latest offerings, including gorgeous Prada sunglasses and accessories. The designer seems to be going back to the 1970s for inspiration while finding a new way to take the old and make it new. Look for darker colours in the outfits being offered by Prada, with an emphasis upon purple.
A luxurious collection was offered by Salvatore Ferragamo, with perfect tailoring, a subtle allure, and only the highest quality materials that brings old-world wealth to the modern fashion world. The main collection focused on a minimalist approach to fashion, but some pieces did have an interesting tribal flair.
Yet another popular designer who showed off their stuff at Milan’s Spring Fashion Week was Marni. Flower power was definitely a key element in this collection, which featured plenty of beautiful outfits with bold and bright floral patterns and prints. Entire outfits were designed from head to toe with these impressive and standout prints, so if you are looking for a brand new look that will really turn heads this season, look for some of the latest offerings from Marni to bring a feminine and tropical vibe to your closet.
Inspired by the 1960s and 1970s, Emilio Pucci’s collection was also fantastic at Milan’s Spring Fashion Week. The collection features beautiful separates, as well as plenty of prints and colours that are hippie-inspired. Suede pants with a slightly flared leg, crochet-printed vests, camisoles, and tiered dresses were featured throughout the collection, making it an ideal option for those who are seeking a fashionable way to pull off a boho look this year.
With so many amazing designers to choose from, you can definitely reinvent yourself this year, and Milan’s Fashion Week for Spring 2015 is sure to inspire you to take some risks.
