Cocktails in Teacups Nair Argan Oil Range Summer Travel Beauty Heroes Skin

When I was packing to go on holiday, in the back of my mind I was looking to take products that would have me looking my best with minimal effort. I wanted beach babe hair, with healthy looking skin and both protected from the sun. Of course, with it being a summer holiday, de-fuzzing is also a high priority. Nowadays with cameras built into our phones, there is always going to be photographic evidence of what you looked like while at your most relaxed. With the release of the Argan Oil range by Nair, #SkinbyNair is raising awareness of how wonderful it feels to have the foundation of silky smooth skin. By exploring the hashtag and checking out the website, you can see how others are enjoying that fuzz free feeling this summer.

In response to this, today I’m sharing some of my other travel beauty heroes that I can’t be with out on a summer holiday.

Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser. We all know that when exposed to the sun our skin feels dryer which is why I swear by the Nivea In Shower Body Moisturiser to kill two birds with one stone. Not only does it smell fantastic due to the almond oil but it moisturises my skin while I shower. It doesn’t replace the need for shower gels to clean, but it does mean once I get out the shower I just get dressed and go.

Bumble & Bumble Surf Range. When I know I’m going to be spending a lot of time in the sun, I do not take any heat appliances to use on my hair, instead I swear by the Bumble & Bumble surf range. The shampoo and conditioner combination leaves my hair soft and manageable by simply running a brush through it, or sleeping with my hair braided. The Surf Spray is the best finishing spray, I use it on both damp and dry hair before heading out and it gives me that perfect windswept look without drying out my hair. Now I’m desperate to get my hands on the newest member of the family, the Surf Infusion spray.

Dermalogica Clear Start Matte Moisturiser. I’m not sure about everyone else, but due to all the excess sweating my skin always looks so shiny in holiday photos, well that was until I discovered Dermalogica Clear Start Matte Moisturiser. Now my skin keeps it’s matte look and it’s the perfect base when teamed with the next product. It also comes in a handy travel size which means I can carry it in my hand luggage.

Kiehl’s Actively Correcting & Beautifying BB Cream. This is my ultimate summer product and I’m onto using it for the third summer in the row. It’s so much lighter than foundation but still gives great coverage. Not only that but it’s SPF 50 so while wearing it I know my face is completely protected. I love the way my skin looks and feels while wearing it and I feel it’s worth every penny despite being a more pricey BB cream on the market.

Benefit They’re Real Mascara. Looking for the ultimate waterproof mascara? Then look no further than They’re Real by Benefit. Last summer I wore this mascara to a water park in New Jersey and it survived some serious water sliding without giving me panda eyes. I really cannot recommend it enough if you’re going on a beach holiday.

Urban Decay All Nighter Make Up Setting Spray. If you use the mascara and then this over your make up, again, even at a water park it won’t budge. I bought this after my trip last summer as the girls I was with had used it and all their make up looked untouched. I then used it while in Florida and I can confirm, it works. I was so impressed that I bought the full-sized bottle at duty free. The best part is, it’s oil free so is great for oily skin like mine.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir. I could not survive a long haul flight without my Caudalie Beauty Elixir not only does it smell amazing but it’s refreshing and leaves my skin feeling really clean. When I feel like my skin is drying out due to the recycled air on a plane, I spritz it a couple of times with this and I feel so much better. It’s also only 30ml per bottle so that I can take it in my hand luggage. It’s also great while on holiday if your skin looks a little dull from all the sun.
