With my eternal singledom continuing it’s very rare that I have a beautiful bouquet of flowers in my house, despite completely adoring them. Occassionally I’ll buy a small bunch for a couple of pound at the supermarket to cheer myself up on a bad day, but there is truly nothing better than a big bunch you didn’t buy yourself landing on your doorstep. That’s what happened to me last week as I was offered the chance to review a signature bunch by the flower delivery company, Appleyard London. How exciting!
The bunch I received is called Harmony* RRP £46, a beautiful bouquet made up of white freesia, memory lane lilac roses, purple trachelium with ornithogalum and avalanche roses. For all you not to familiar with flower names, it’s mainly neutral blooms with a few purple scattered in. I wanted something that would go nicely with my lounge and I wasn’t disappointed. Everything arrived looking fresh and i was even provided with a sachet of flower food to help my flowers last as long as possible. They’re still growing strong a week on and my whole house smells amazing. Although the weather outside is awful at the moment, seeing the flowers in bloom on my mantle has definitely kept my spirits up. I cannot begin to describe just how big this bouquet is, it’s definitely special and it made me feel special to open the door to this huge box. What a wonderful treat? I know a lot of people who appreciate flowers any time of the year, and I’ll definitely be thinking of Appleyard London next time I want to send something. Their delivery service and packaging was impeccable and you definitely get what you’re paying for.
With people starting to think about Christmas over the next couple of months, Appleyard London will be getting in their Christmas flowers which are such an original gift and perfect for the lady in your life who has everything (much like my mum).
