Guest Post // Experiences to Try in 2018*

With sites such as Groupon and Wowcher, it’s possible to purchase any experience that you’re after, either for a loved one or yourself. And, with the world as it is, why not try something that’s wild and out there in 2018? Here’s a list of some of the most amazing experiences to try in 2018…

Skydiving
If you’re afraid of heights, why not tackle your fear head on and try skydiving. With dedicated sky diving schools around the UK, you can learn right here without stepping a foot abroad! It’s said to be one of the most exhilarating experiences you can do, will you take the risk?

Scuba Diving
If you’re definitely not into the sky diving idea, why not try your hand at scuba diving? You can learn in UK pools or dedicated centers, and you can usually find scuba diving classes on money saving websites such as those mentioned above. If you learn here, you can test your skills abroad whilst exploring the wildlife under the waves – magical!

Skiing
If you’ve never been skiing, there are plenty of places here in the UK where you can learn, such as Chill Factore in Manchester. Or, you can book a skiing holiday and decide to learn when you get there! If you’re going with friends, you could always enjoy the après-ski 24/7 and leave the skiing to your friends and family… Either way, skiing holidays are amazing, and shouldn’t be missed!

Learn and Instrument
For some, learning an instrument looks like it will take too much time. But if you take an hour out of your evening, you could become a great player in no time! And with YouTube videos to guide you along the way, it can actually be one of the cheapest endeavors on this list.

See the Northern Lights
One of the pricier experiences, the Northern Lights is not to be missed. If you can afford to, definitely book to stay in a glass igloo or something similar, imagine seeing the amazing phenomenon whilst sleeping under the stars, I can’t think of anything better…

Fly a Hot Air Balloon
If you have a fear of heights then maybe miss this one out… But hot air balloons let you see the scenery below in such a unique way that you’ll never forget. From around £100 a trip, this could be a great Christmas present for the adventurer in your life, or a cute little getaway for you and your partner.
