5 Must Dos in Washington DC
So remember that time I went on this crazy adventure on my own around the North East corner of the States for 10 days? No? To be perfectly honest sometimes I even forget I did that, it seems like a lifetime ago even though it was only the summer of 2014! It feels like a dream now, or that it didn’t even happen to me. I’ve been trying to fall back in love with my blog, so I thought revisiting that adventure and writing some more posts about it would be a great way as travel writing is truly where my heart lies. Today I’m tackling Washington DC and my…

Visiting DC? Here are some of the best strains you need to try*
Did you know that possession of minimal amounts of marijuana was first decriminalized in Washington DC in 2014? As a local or even a tourist, nothing can feel better than smoking cannabis in Washington DC, the heart and capital of the country. Cannabis is now legal in Washington DC, for both medicinal and recreational purposes. Even though it is legal, it might not be that easy to find high-quality weed just by walking into a shop. There are many ways to get weed casually, but it is important to know good quality weed when you see it. There are many high-quality strains in DC that one should absolutely try. Every…

Things to Think About When Planning a US Trip*
It’s no secret that visiting the USA is one of my favourite things to do as far as travel is concerned. I’ve been to Florida and California multiple times, as well as visiting family in Georgia as a child. I have also done a tour of the East Coast and my fair share of trips to New York. With the travel corridor between the UK and the USA reopening in November, it’s finally time to start thinking about the next trips we’re taking. I’m not quite ready to explore somewhere new, but I am desperate to take my daughter to New York. I want to combine it with a trip…

Travel Blogger Must Haves*
I have to admit, the travel aspect of my blog is my absolute favourite. I love writing about adventures I’ve had, both alone and with LM. Although I don’t adventure half as much as I’d like, and these days all the Disney aspects of our adventures are on Livvy Bird Adventures, it’s still an important part of this blog. Be it day dreaming about places I want to visit, plans for days out or simply a travel related wish list, I’m never going to stop talking about travelling. I guess once LM is older I am hoping to visit more n0n-Disney places and once again it’ll be a main feature…

My 5 Must Dos in New York City
I’ve been lucky enough to visit New York City three times in the last eight years and now that LM is older I’m definitely getting the ache to go back. It’s one of my favourite places in the world, somewhere I feel completely at home. There really is no city like it, there are so many different worlds all on island, it’s crazy. The last time I visited was now almost three years ago (believe me it feels longer) which is probably why I’m starting to miss the place like crazy and since it’s been a while since I did a blog post about somewhere other than the UK or…

Looking Back on June 2016
Okay, so June wasn’t as much fun as May, but I did manage to not get dumped which is a success in itself and my boyfriend spent a total of 20 days at my house as well as me spending a further 3 days at his. We don’t get to spend as much time together in July sadly as I have a friend coming to stay for a week but I will be at his for two weekends out of the 5 that July has. It’s his birthday on the 30th and I’m looking forward to seeing him for that. Anyway, I’m on a tangent. I was supposed to spend…
