Little Miss’ Favourite Character Dining in Walt Disney World from 2015
This weeks big Disney trip post is the first one I’ve worked with Little Miss on! As much as I can write about our trips, there will always be parts of them that Little Miss has opinions on. And lets face it, her opinions are just as valid as mine, if not more valid as my trips are mainly about her happiness. So this week I sat down with her and all our photos and we talked about character dining at Walt Disney World. Although I really don’t think we’re doing any on our trip in March as we’re on a budget, we’ll be doing all the character dining in…

10 Must Do Things at Animal Kingdom (5 Fast Pass, 5 Non Fast Pass)
It’s been a while since I did my last 10 Must Do Things post for Walt Disney World and I figured since we’re off back in just over 50 days I should maybe look at what I actually want to do. These posts help me as much as I write them to help other people. Today I’m looking at Animal Kingdom. Unlike Magic Kingdom there isn’t a huge selection of rides and attractions but there is definitely enough for one or two days and there are some things you must do if you are only ever planning on visiting Walt Disney World once in your life! Animal Kingdom doesn’t receive…

5 UK Cities I Want to Visit in 2016*
Just because I like to travel abroad, doesn’t mean I’m any less interested in visiting places in my home country but with the rising cost of train fares (and the rubbish service they offer), if I don’t decide to go 3 months in advance, it ends up being cheaper to go abroad! However, with my love of conventions, I’m hoping this will encourage me to visit different places rather than the same over and over again. Not only that but there are some great places where you can book a UK city break for a great price, like Great Little Breaks, this would be a great way to take the…

Disneyland Paris – Disney Magic on Parade
Back in October I headed off to Disneyland Paris with Little Miss, Kariss and Hayley. It’s something we’d had planned for a while and I was looking forward to it. Although it was hard at times as we struggled to find Peter Pan and that was just something LM couldn’t deal with. It was also cold and It’s a Small World along with a few other rides that LM enjoys were closed. But we made the best of it and it ended up being quite a lot of fun. Aside from the beautiful castle, one of our absolute favourite things about Disneyland Paris is the 5pm parade. The music is…

February Half-Term Break Ideas*
Like most parents, I am a big believer in travelling with children. Not only is seeing new places exciting and enriching for them, but holidays are also perfect for family bonding. I love taking time out to take my daughter on vacation, but sadly, money can sometimes be an issue. However, like most parents, I do try to take her away at least once or twice a year. The key to success when organising the perfect family holiday is booking in advance. This is especially true when it comes to traveling during the school holidays, as the earlier you book, the more affordable it is. In case you fancy getting…

The Perfect New Years Get Away*
As a single mother, New Year celebration has become non and void these days. My parents are at the age where they have a better social life than me and I don’t really have any other babysitting options. I’m blessed to have had one really good one though before I hit motherhood that I still think fondly of every Decemeber 31st. But instead of looking to the past, today I’m exploring future new years. Hopefully it won’t always be this way (sat on my own in the lounge sloshed on a bottle of wine and M&S take away) and that one day I’ll be able to celebrate in style once…
