Fashion Content // Shoe Trends for 2015*
Fashion is a fickle mistress. One season we are all clattering about in the highest of heels, the next we are in flopping about in flats. the trick is to keep one step ahead to see what the big designers are being inspired by and what they are producing in their catwalk shows. The trickle down effect from Jimmy Choo to high street makes those beautiful, yet expensive shoes become a reality. So, let’s take a look at this year’s shoe trends so we can all have a slice of the action. The Gladiator This is the ultimate sandal for the Summer of 2015. Think warrior poses at your local…

Holiday in the Sun Essentials*
Aren’t you all bored of me harping on about my holiday yet? Yes? Well tough. I’m going at it all from a different angle today in talking about my holiday in the sun essentials. I haven’t taken a holiday where it has been “hot” since I was 20, that’s 7 years. Usually I have city breaks where although the weather has been cool, I haven’t had to worry about being out in the sun a lot due to a lot of sight seeing being indoors. Although a lot of a Disney Holiday can be indoors, I knew I needed to be prepared for some time out enjoying the sun, and…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 5 – Animal Kingdom
So, I made a huge mistake on the day we visited Animal Kingdom… I picked up the uncharged battery so by mid morning (right in the middle of the safari) my camera died on me. Heartbroken is the understatement so I have no photos of The Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo the Musical. Thank goodness for Photopass! We arrived at Animal Kingdom just after opening so we headed straight to Dinoland USA where we went on the Animal Kingdom version of Dumbo, twice. Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 4 – 1900 Park Fare, Magic Kingdom & Hollywood Studios
Getting bored of this yet? Still another 6 more after this update! I’m not sure how many people are actually reading my Walt Disney World updates so I’m really just doing them for me so I can look back on them. I am eventually going to do restaurant reviews and tip posts which may be of more interest. But until then… Day 4. Our fourth day didn’t end up being as crazy as first anticipated! We had an early morning breakfast reservation at 1900 Park Fare with Bee, her partner Chris and her daughters Megan and Lily. I ended up getting on the wrong monorail and was slightly late but…

Walt Disney World April 2015, Day 3 – 1900 Park Fare & Magic Kingdom
Firstly, May the 4th be with you! I’ve celebrated today by watching episodes 4,5,6 with my Star Wars loving dad. Little Miss was also initiated as she joined us to watch The Empire Strikes Back, and I’m happy to report she seemed to join it. I remember being not much older than her and sitting down with my dad to watch Star Wars, my sister and I have always been fans. I hope Little Miss will be the same and enjoy just as much some day especially with the new movies coming out, she’ll be part of a Star Wars generation just as my dad was and I was. ANYWAY,…

5 Ways I Know My Daughter is No Longer a Baby*
I’m twenty seven with a now three year old daughter. I have to tell myself this on a daily basis because I still find it hard to believe. Because it’s just LM & I (and of course Elsa) I still very much think of Little Miss as my baby but over the past few months I’ve noticed the baby characteristics disappearing one by one and I’m left with a very beautiful and independent little girl. As much as I love her developing personality, I fear that soon she’ll not need me as much as she has and I’ll have nothing else. I’m sure I’m not the only mum to ever…
