Personal Style – The Dream That You Wish Will Come True
I have to admit, that unlike my other Disney Personal Style posts, I did not wear this dress all day. Mainly because I’m trying to get down my washing and I’d be afraid I wouldn’t get this washed and ironed in time to take it with me! I cannot believe I go in 12 days, TWELVE DAYS! I’m able to now say to Little Miss that we’re going on holiday NEXT WEEK! My threats to get her to stop misbehaving sound more real when I say “stop that or you won’t go to Disney next week” rather than just tagging on “soon” to the end. I’m onto the washing and…

A Day in the Life, March 2015
This is my third month of doing my A Day in the Life series and for some reason it’s getting harder to remember to take the blooming photos! I ended up using my SLR and my phone as when I went out I left my camera at my mum’s, DOH! This month I documented a weekend day. It ended up being a slightly unusual weekend due to the fact my dad is working away so he didn’t come home as usual on Friday. Plus me mum was having a fundraiser for the pre-school is runs, so I guess it’s a little more interesting than it could have been! …

A Restaurant Pop Up with an Interesting Twist*
Restaurant pop ups are a relatively new concept in the UK, a new and exciting prospect in my opinion but they have existed for much longer in the US. In case you’re not down with the foodie lingo, a restaurant pop up is basically a restaurant that “pops up from nowhere” to put it simply. They’re usually temporary and quite often have a theme. They usually operate during festivals (like The Fringe in Edinburgh or during Gay Pride in various cities, or even over Christmas or the summer period). Sometimes their in a private home, or a disused warehouse and they’re definitely most popular in large cities such as London…

Goodbye Grandpa
I’ve deleted the contents of this post quite a number of times over the last few weeks. I want to write about this as I wrote about my Grandad so it only seems fair but this feels so much harder to do. Unlike my Grandad, my Grandpa was like a second father and loosing him has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. My Grandpa passed away on the 30th January, 2 days after LM’s birthday. My mum was called to his bedside on the Monday and along with her mother and her sisters they only came away at night. I like to firmly believe my Grandpa…

Travel Content // 5 Reasons Your Next Holiday Should Be to a Health Retreat*
Credit When planning your next holiday, thoughts usually revolve around beach escapes, luxury resorts, and cultural experiences. What is usually not on the list, though, is holidaying at a health resort. Below are five reasons that is exactly where your next vacation should be. 1. To Clear Your Mind The ultimate goal for many people when they go on vacation is to clear their mind from all of life’s distractions. Health retreats allow you to do this through their secluded locations and wellbeing programs. Plus, retreats only allow a limited number of visitors at a time. Health and wellness escapes such as the Chi of Life Retreat are available all…

Grown Up Ways to Celebrate a Birthday*
As you all know, on Saturday I celebrated my twenty seventh birthday. I won’t lie, it makes me feel nervous seeing my age edge towards the big three-oh. For my thirtieth I want to spend the day dressed as a Disney princess and drink a lot of champagne. Preferably in Disneyland/world. But in the mean time, I have two more birthdays that I would like to celebrate in a more grown up way. To be honest, by all accounts, I think I managed that to an extent this year, aside from prancing around in a tulle skirt and playing Cards Against Humanity, which is an adult game but in…
